John McCormack has been the station manager of WUTC-FM since 1984. He has seen it grow from a relay facility for another station's broadcast to an independent Corporation for Public Broadcasting accredited radio service. Mark Colbert has been WUTC's program director for 19 years. "I love my job. It's been an exciting experience witnessing the growth of WUTC since its inception in 1986," says Mark. Ken, a Florida native, is a 1976 graduate of Tulane Univeristy who earned his MBA at the University of Georgia in 1977. He has been WUTC's development director since 1989, while simultaneously serving as the station's membership director and host of the radio series Timeless Jazz through 2002. Ken is also a very active free lance jazz critic, having contributed thousands of music reviews to web sites and magazines since 1988. Mike Manderson is the Underwriting Development Assistant
working with Ken Dryden. Most of his
career has been in advertising. He and
his family have been in Chattanooga
since 1991. He has spent 9 years with outdoor
advertising companies and 3 years with a local advertising agency. When he isn’t working he enjoys losing golf
balls and traveling with his wife (they are empty-nesters!). Oh yes, and they have 5 adult kids and three

Robin Higgins manages the business and financial affairs for the station. She is responsible for the annual financial report, grant reporting, and day to day business activities. She also serves as membership coordinator, serving to train volunteers and coordinating giveaways for the on-air campaigns. Robin has been with the station since 1986. LaWaunda January is the Administrative Assistant at WUTC and has worked for the station since fall 2000. Prior to holding this position, she was Underwriting Sales Development Assistant for Ken Dryden for six years. She has experience in Commercial and Public Radio broadcasting as well as camera operation experience in Television. Her hobbies include collecting Japanese Anime and Manga and she is an avid video game player. She is a Chattanooga native and graduate from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Elizabeth Miller recently joined WUTC-FM to promote the Member Rewards program. She is native to the Wauhatchie Valley, but spent her formative years in New Orleans, where she gained her Disco-Therapy degree performing with bands including the subdudes and Tribe Nunzio while also earning her Bachelor of Music degree from Loyola University. She has no free time, but likes to lie in bed and watch TV while gazing at the beautiful mountains and horses of the Chattanooga Valley where she lives with son, Hatch and Miss Patsy Cline. Elizabeth can be booked for cocktail parties, weddings, and funerals.
