Cleveland Carlson
 Weekday Morning & Weekend Evening Host/Producer

Cleveland grew up in Memphis and has lived in the Chattanooga area for 18 years.  He graduated from UTC in 1995 and became involved with WUTC in 1999.  Cleveland was the producer of Voices from Home, a weekly showcase of local and regional artists, for two years and has been a host and producer for over 7 years.  Cleveland currently produces The Moontime Radio Show on saturday nights at 9pm, which features reggae, rock, funk and jambands. He is also the host and producer for Morning music weekdays 10-12 noon. Email Cleveland at Cleveland-Carlson@utc.edu

 


 

Tommy Cotter
Evening Host/Producer
 Host and producer of Evening Music, Tommy is well known in the Chattanooga area as a lifelong musician, he has performed professionally as guitarist, singer and songwriter in several original musical groups during his career and owns TMC Creative Audio, an independent recording studio and commercial production facility which composes, records and produces music for television and radio, independent music projects as well as scores for films and television.  He continues to write songs as well as perform live on occasion. Joel White

On-Air Announcer & Back-Up DJ

 

Joel embarked upon the on-going public radio voyage of WUTC 88.1 in March 2007.  If public radio had need of a literal image, he would attempt to film it. Meanwhile, Joel ambitiously helps on deck at WUTC as a back up DJ and on-air announcer amidst the high-definition squalls of 21st century radio. Email Joel at Joel-White@utc.edu



 




Richard Winham
Afternoon Host/Producer
Host and producer of the Afternoon Music program, Richard was born in London.  He has lived in the United States since the early 1970s.  He moved to the US to find a job in radio.  He has worked in both commercial and public radio ever since.  Richard has been with WUTC since 1987; his show offers a freewheeling mix of music and interviews with musicians and other movers and shakers within our community, as well as visiting musicians and artists from across the country.  E-mail Richard at Richard-Winham@utc.edu.
