For food banks in Chattanooga, the Tennessee Valley and across the country in the past few years, the challenge of feeding people in need has endured stresses and strains: the pandemic, supply chain disruptions, inflation and now concerns about the economic impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The Chattanooga Area Food Bank serves people across twenty counties in Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia.
