Why wasn’t the Holocaust prevented or stopped?

Author and speaker Peter Hayes has explored that question for years.

He is a professor emeritus of history and Holocaust studies at Northwestern University - and one of the historians featured in the recent Ken Burns documentary, “The U.S. and the Holocaust.”

Peter is visiting Chattanooga ahead of Friday’s opening at the Chattanooga Public Library of “Americans and the Holocaust: A Traveling Exhibition for Libraries” from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
