Two New Leadership Roles For Hamilton County Government

Among Tennessee’s 95 counties, Hamilton County is home to the fourth-largest population in the state.

County Mayor Weston Wamp recently named two people to newly-created leadership roles, part of a push to modernize county government for long-term projects and better manage future growth.

David Roddy

David Roddy is the County’s first Chief Operating Officer.

He had served as special advisor to Mayor Wamp and Chief of Staff Claire McVay - and before joining county government, he worked for the Chattanooga Police Department for 26 years, the last four as Chief of Police.

Lee Brouner

Lee Brouner is Hamilton County’s first Chief Financial Officer.

He came to the county thirty-five years ago as Assistant County Auditor, moving to the Finance Department nearly a decade ago.
