To build a “city in a park” here in Chattanooga, the people who live, work and play in this city now have a new way to have their say.
Last month, the Chattanooga City Council unanimously approved 15 people to serve on a recently-created panel: the Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors Advisory Committee.
Nine members were appointed by the Council, six by Mayor Tim Kelly - and among the fifteen is a youth member under the age of 21.
I spoke with three of the committee members: Linda Moss Mines, Shelby Meek and Erika Roberts.
