Chattanooga residents are invited to help the fight against breast cancer by participating in Pink Week 2018. From CHI Memorial's Web site:
Each January for the past 13 years the Pink! gala raises funds to support the nationally recognized MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at CHI Memorial. Most importantly, Pink! raises funds to ensure top-notch breast cancer detection and treatment capabilities right here at home, and last year alone more than 30,000 patients were served by the Breast Center regardless of ability to pay. We invite you to help support this vital cause by participating in Color Chattanooga Pink the week leading up to the event, January 22-27, 2018. Last year restaurants created new pink drinks or dedicated a portion of their sales for a day, and schools had pink out basketball games, as well as much more. Creativity is encouraged and the sky is the limit! While the activities that are chosen can raise funds, they do not have to – our goal is to rally the community behind this important cause and Color Chattanooga Pink!
