Each week on "Barking Legs Theater," Richard Winham talks with people at the theater - and shares excerpts from recent and classic performances there.

Finger star guitarsist Pierre Bensusan - a master of dadgad tuning - is coming to Barking Legs Theater on March 13th.  Bruce Kaplan from the Theater joins Richard Winham to share some of Pierre's music.

Later, Bruce shares an excerpt from saxophonist Greg Tardy's performance at Barking Legs in May 2017 ahead of his return to the Theater on March 11th.

The Atlanta-based, eight-piece jazz ensemble merges klezmer music with West African rhythmic styles.

Marcus Ellsworth of Barking Legs Theater joins Richard Winham to recap the celebration of Chef Neville Forsythe of Mrs. B's Reggae Cafe - including a performance by Fresh Mind.

With hints of reggae, rock, jazz and blues, the sound of Atlanta-based Fresh Mind is high energy and encourages tripping the light fantastic.

Barking Legs Theater: Mel Martin, Ultrafaux and More

Bruce Kaplan from Barking Legs Theater joins Richard Winham to share an excerpt from jazz singer Mel Martin, who will be performing at the theater on Wednesday, January 29th.

They also discussed the celebration for the late Chef Neville Forsythe - culinary master and light in the Chattanooga community - set for Saturday, February 1st. 

Finally, Bruce shared a selection from Ultrafaux, a Baltimore-based acoustic gypsy band that draws inspiration from legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt - performing on Thursday, January 30th.

Marcus Ellsworth from Barking Legs Theater brings Sherry Cothran - singer/songwriter, ordained minister and lead singer of former rock band, The Evinrudes - to share her unique sound ahead of performing at Barking Legs on Saturday, January 31st.

Later, Richard Winham is joined by two members of Visions of a Dream, an eclectic band with cinematic songs from blues to jazz.  Eric Sanders and Tony Tortora perform ahead of their show at Barking Legs on Wednesday, January 22nd.
