In celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, the Lady Mocs Basketball team will spend Saturday February 9, 2013 mentoring youth from Girls Inc. of Chattanooga.
In the decades since the passing of Title IX opportunities for female sports has drastically improved. Spreading awareness of opportunities for girls and women in sports and the associated benefits of team participation is part of celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
