Archeology is a hands-on endeavor.

Tomorrow (10/15/21) and Saturday (10/16/21), our UTC campus will host a Paleo Skills Workshop and Lecture.

Dr. Devin Pettigrew of the University of Colorado at Boulder will give the lecture - tomorrow at 5 PM in the Signal Mountain Room, free and open to the public.

On Saturday afternoon, the paleo skills workshop - for UTC students - will be held at Chamberlain Field.

Dr. Carey McCormack is a lecturer in UTC’s Department of History.

Dr. Brooke Persons is director of the Jeffrey L. Brown Institute of Archeology in UTC’s Department of Social, Cultural and Justice Studies.
