The Rhea County Courthouse in Dayton, TN.

Let’s borrow a time machine and travel back to the early days of radio - for a play in the same spot where the Scopes Trial was held.

On Saturday in Dayton, a radio theater production of H.G. Wells’ sci-fi classic “The Time Machine” will be presented - for one show only - in the historic Rhea County Courthouse.

Rick Dye is president of the Rhea Heritage Preservation Foundation, which is staging the production with the Tennessee Valley Theatre.
