When we talk about “urban agriculture,” what do we mean?

How can - and should - it play a role in local food system planning?

Why are these questions crucial for the long-term resilience of cities, from the economy to public health to climate change?

On Thursday, from 5 PM to 7 PM, Chattanooga Design Studio and Crabtree Farms will host a fireside panel discussion - titled: “Urban Agriculture and Local Food System Planning in Chattanooga.”

The discussion - part of the Studio’s CIVIQ series - will take place at Crabtree Farms.

Christina Gibson is with Chattanooga Design Studio - and Sarah Brown of Food Well Alliance in Atlanta will be one of the panelists.
