In Dalton, Student Filmmakers Weave Community

S.T.E.P. Studio

Student filmmakers in Dalton have told the story of their community and its resilience in an award-winning documentary.

The high school and college students at S.T.E.P. Studio spent more than 200 hours editing their documentary, “Dalton: A Story of Survival.”

It was honored with an award for best long documentary at the American Golden Picture International Film Festival in Jacksonville, Florida.
