These ‘Urban Heroes’ Bring Arts Education to Incarcerated Hamilton County Youth

Chattanooga artists Rondell Crier andOlga de Klein join us to discuss their Urban Heroes project, which brings arts education and training to youth who are housed in the Hamilton County detention center.

An ArtsBuild Community Cultural Connections grant is helping to fund the project.  From an ArtsBuild media release:

Chattanooga Workspace project, Urban Heroes, focuses on bringing arts instruction to juveniles at the Hamilton County Detention Center. Lead by professional visual and multi-media artists Olga de Klein and Rondell Crier, the project involves both Olga and Rondell working with youth in the Detention Center to provide hands-on arts instruction.
