WTCI worked with the Children's Advocacy Center of Hamilton County to create a public service announcement (PSA) encouraging people to take a stand against child abuse.
Emily Compton and Peter DeLynn produced One With Courageand received an Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Midsouth Division. The award was accepted in January by Emily Compton. In addition to producing the Emmy award winning PSA, Compton works with the WTCI production team on several programs including The A List with Alison Lebovitz, the Chattanooga History Center's History Makers, and projects with several nonprofits in the Tennessee Valley.
