The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga encourages veterans and their families to get involved with campus life through the Student Veterans Organization (SVO).
In addition to helping veterans make the most of their benefits, the organization offers mentorship and social events to welcome vets to college life. Tailgate parties, social gatherings and mentoring are part of the student organization's efforts. The SVO also hosts a 5K run to raise funds for the Sergeant David Alex Stephens Memorial Scholarship Fund.
