Flipturn, an indie rock band from Florida, came to Chattanooga in the fall of 2023 for Moon River Music Festival. The young band, who mostly met in high school, sat down with Haley Solomon ahead of the festival to talk about the creation of the band, the places they go to write albums, and their tour chicken 'Jalapeno.' The band was upbeat and silly and a true blast to talk to. If you missed them at Moon River, you'll have another chance to see Flipturn play, this time at the Signal, on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024.
