The Tivoli Theatre here in downtown Chattanooga - now more than a century old - is known as “The Jewel of the South.”
For now, that jewel is under renovation - closing last year, set to reopen next year - as part of a project that also includes a new performing arts center next door in the former Fowler Brothers Building.
