“Alabama Story” is a play written in the past decade, inspired by real events of the late 1950’s.

At the heart of the play is a collision of racial tensions and censorship during segregation and the civil rights movement.

On Friday, “Alabama Story” premieres at Chattanooga Theatre Centre.
