(aired Thu 1/27/22)

In Red Bank, a community effort aims to turn a dozen acres into a nature-based park.

The site on Dayton Boulevard is where the old Red Bank High and Middle School once stood.

Don McKenzie and Larry Miller are with Save Red Bank Central Park - Don is a naturalist with years of experience in wildlife management, and Larry uses iPhone apps to document plant and animal life on the site.
