When noted playwright Arthur Miller wrote “All My Sons,” he has been quoted as saying it was his “final attempt at writing a commercially successful play.” Had the play not been a success he reportedly said he would “find some other line of work.”
The Ensemble Theatre of Chattanooga is mounting a production of the play which examines many of the same themes as the later play, “Death of a Salesman.” Richard Winham talked to Deb Meeks who plays Kate Keller and the director, Garry Posey, who thinks “All My Sons” is superior to the iconic “Death of a Salesman.”
