In December, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck in East Tennessee. The earthquake’s epicenter was only a few miles from the Watts Bar Nuclear power plant in Spring City, one of the largest nuclear power stations in the US. Tennessee Valley Authority, which operates Watts Bar, said it was not damaged. Closer to home is Sequoyah Nuclear Plant in Soddy-Daisy, and WUTC’s Will Davis went to the training center there and talked to two employees about what they saw and heard.
