'Pilots N Paws' Saves Dogs' Lives

Pilots N Paws is a national nonprofit that partners volunteer pilots with rescue animals to provide dogs with a flight that could save their lives.  When a shelter is faced with killing unwanted dogs, they can contact Pilots N Paws and see if a rescue coordinator can relocate the animal to a no kill shelter in another state.  A network of volunteer pilots and private airplanes help schedule the journey to relocate the animal to a facility that will hopefully be able to adopt them into new families.  The pilots that fly with Pilots N Paws donate their time, their aircraft and the cost of moving rescue animals.  The dogs that fly to new homes may become service animals or the best friend to a grateful family.
