Voices Of Ukraine In Chattanooga - And At UTC

Refugees at airport.
UTC
Refugees at airport.

For some, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was a shock.

For others, it was foreseeable - if not inevitable.

How did we get here? Where do we go from here?

Tomorrow, a panel discussion here at UTC will take place at the Guerry Center Reading Room, starting at 5:30 PM - titled, “The Russian Invasion of Ukraine: Politics, Policy and Outcomes and The Implications for Refugees and Chattanooga.”

Dr. Irina Khmelko is UC Foundation Professor of Political Science and Public Services.

Marina Peshterianu is executive director of Bridge Refugee Services here in Chattanooga.

I spoke with them - and again with Bob Boyer, director of UTC Presents.
