Community gardens are shared spaces for people to grow plants - flowers, vegetables, you name it.

These gardens are found in communities large and small, urban and rural, across the country - and they are as varied as the places where they grow, including here in Chattanooga and Hamilton County.

Jazmine LeBlanc is cofounder and executive director of ELLA Library in Chattanooga’s East Lake neighborhood.

Cori Tinkham is project coordinator at the Chattanooga Food Center.
