For Hamilton County EMS, Looking Back And Moving Forward

For Hamilton County EMS, it’s a time of change and transition.

Last month, the County opened a new administration and training center for EMS - on Volunteer Drive in Chattanooga.

Since then, John Miller - the County’s EMS director - has announced his retirement.

Wade Batson - the deputy director and an EMS employee for more than three decades - has been appointed by County Mayor Weston Wamp to succeed Miller.
