The Land Trust for Tennessee is a conservation nonprofit that protects thousands of acres across the Volunteer State - farms, landscapes, parks and forests.

Here in Chattanooga, Ginny Kelly is six months into the job of Southeast Director at the Land Trust.

A native of Mississippi and the wife of Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly, Ginny is known as a runner who thrives in the outdoors.

“Flannery’s Cafe” is a play that delves into the world of Flannery O'Connor - and her notions of prejudice, grace and redemption through the characters in her Southern Gothic stories. Written by Peggy Douglas and Jason Tinney, the play opens Friday at Chattanooga State Community College, in partnership with the nonprofit Mark Making.
