“The End Of Reality,” An Ethical Eye On Techo-Determinists

Jonathan Taplin is a writer, scholar and film producer.

He produced “Mean Streets,” Martin Scorsese’s first major feature film - as well as other films and documentaries.

He led the Annenberg Innovation Lab at the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism - and he has served on the California Broadband Task Force and the City of Los Angeles Technology and Innovation Council.

Among Jonathan’s books: “The Magic Years: Scenes from a Rock-and-Roll Life” and “Move Fast and Break Things: How Facebook, Google and Amazon Have Cornered Culture and Undermined Democracy.”

Jonathan’s latest book is “The End of Reality: How Four Billionaires Are Selling A Fantasy Universe of the Metaverse, Mars and Crypto."
