From Art Supply Kits To Pandemic Portraits

Pandemic Portraits
Glass House Collective

Glass House Collective is a nonprofit dedicated to bringing life back to Glass Street in East Chattanooga - but its work, especially now, people beyond those physical boundaries.

During this pandemic, Glass House helped to raise money for art supply kits for students at Hardy Elementary School, so they could continue their assignments at home.

And if you check out Glass House on social media, you’ll find “Pandemic Portrait” - a series of photos of Chattanoogans taken from outside their homes, along with their stories.

Teal Thibaud is director of Glass House Collective, Sara Cross is art teacher at Hardy Elementary and Orchard Knob Elementary, Kate Warren is director of Art 120 - and Reed Shick is the photographer behind “Pandemic Portrait”…
