The Blue And The Gray, After The Civil War

The reconciliation of Civil War veterans known as The Blue and Gray Barbecue near Chickamauga in 1889 - and, what followed - will be the topic for the final program in this year’s Moccasin Bend Lecture Series.

 

Dr. Timothy Smith of the University of Tennessee-Martin will be the speaker for Monday night’s lecture here in Chattanooga, presented by National Park Partners.

 

The lecture, free and open to the public, starts at 7 PM at The Tennessee Aquarium’s IMAX Theater.
