(aired Thu 6/09/22)

This evening, the Chattanooga Festival of Black Arts and Ideas: Juneteenth Independence Day comes to Proof Bar and Restaurant.

Starting at 6 PM, Proof will host the opening reception for the Festival’s featured visual artist La-Tesia Danielle - including a one-on-one conversation with her, and the smooth sounds of saxophonist Frank Bumpass.

I spoke with La-Tesia, Ric Morris - the festival’s founder and CEO - along with poets Erika Roberts and Marsha Mills.

Check out La-Tesia’s website: artbylatesia.com - and the website for Frank Bumpass: frankbsax.com.
