Hamilton County Parks and Recreation offers special nights in local parks to promote sports and leisure activities as well as a movie screening at the beach.
Get Out and Go Night will be May 18th at the Tennessee Riverpark from 6 - 8 pm. The Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department provides an opportunity for local sports teams and leisure clubs to provide information and demonstrations. The event is free and open to the public.
Beach Blanket Movie Night is kicking off Memorial Day weekend for the 9th year. Families are encouraged to arrive early to participate in some of the games, complete with prizes. Bring lawn chairs and blankets and sit back to watch a Disney movie under the stars. The movie will be displayed on a 3 story inflatable screen and can be seen from the beach or by boat.
