This fall, students from Morehouse School of Medicine based in Atlanta began learning here in Chattanooga at CHI Memorial.

It’s the first hospital in a ten-year, 100-million-dollar partnership between Morehouse and Common Spirit Health - CHI Memorial’s parent company - to develop and train Black physicians and advanced practice providers across more than twenty states.

Ray Smith and Dr. Lee Jackson are with CHI Memorial.
