Flora de Mel

(aired Mon 12/13/21)

Flora de Mel in Rossville, Georgia is the first meadery for the Chattanooga area.

The mead bar recently opened to sell the alcoholic beverage, made with fermented honey - and it is paired with Calliope, a kitchen-in-residence featuring an Eastern Mediterranean cuisine - all with a Southern twist.

Jay Martin is co-owner of Flora de Mel.
