  • This Saturday marks six months since the Ed Johnson Memorial was dedicated near the Walnut Street Bridge in downtown Chattanooga. On March 19th, 1906, Johnson - a young Black man - was lynched on that bridge. This Saturday, March 19th, The Ed Johnson Project - which led the community effort to build the memorial - will reflect with a pair of events.
