Friday is National Medal of Honor Day - devoted to the U.S. Military’s highest and most prestigious award for valor.

Here in Chattanooga, the Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center will commemorate the day.

Steven Thomas is the Center’s director of operations.
