Long before Aretha Franklin became known worldwide as “The Queen of Soul,” she sang at Howard High here in Chattanooga.

This Monday, April 4th at 7 PM, the Howard Theatre Arts Program - along with Legends of Soul Chattanooga and the Chattanooga Neighborhood Arts Partnership - will present the “Aretha Is Back!” concert at The Howard School.

Ric Morris is theatre arts teacher at Howard - and singer Jasmine Le’Shea will be one of the performers on stage.
