A Parks And Rec Perspective For Hamilton County

Matt Folz is settling into a new job with a familiar background: the outdoors.

He’s the new director of Hamilton County Parks and Recreation, appointed by County Mayor Weston Wamp and approved unanimously by the County Commission.

The past few years, Matt has served the county as superintendent of the Tennessee Riverpark - and his experience includes stints at Glacier Lake National Park in Montana and Crater Lake National Park in Oregon.
