The holiday that honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has been celebrated for thirty-nine years - as many years as the civil rights leader lived.

Here in Chattanooga, this year’s celebration of Dr. King has already begun - and the week of events culminates with Monday’s holiday.
