The Meacham Writers’ Workshop is one of the longest literary traditions here on our campus, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
This week, the Meacham celebrates its 40th anniversary - with events free and open to the public - here at UTC and at Stove Works in Chattanooga.
From Wednesday through Saturday, the workshop will feature readings, receptions and special events with award-winning writers, UTC alums and emerging voices.
Sybil Baker - UC Foundation Professor and Associate Head of the Department of English - is Director of the Meacham Writers’ Workshop.
Richard Jackson is the workshop’s founding director.
