Next month, about an hour east of Atlanta, a Georgia native with a worldwide impact on music will present a benefit concert for conservation in The Peach State.

Chuck Leavell's piano and keyboard have been heard on songs by artists from The Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton and The Rolling Stones to The Indigo Girls, Blues Traveler and Lee Ann Womack.

On Friday, November 13th, Leavell - the musical director for the Stones since 1982 - brings "The Bloody Fingers Tour with Chuck Leavell and Friends" to the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center Auditorium in Madison, GA. Doors open at 6:30 PM.

Leavell spoke with WUTC's Clark Gibson about the evening of music and storytelling to support The Madison-Morgan Conservancy, a nationally accredited land trust dedicated to Georgia's farms, forests and front porches.
