Wild Trails Stump Art Show

Wild Trails and the Association for Visual Arts are teaming up with RiverRocks Chattanooga to present the Wild Trails Stump Art Show.

A select group of artists will be using trees that have fallen in the woods along the trails in the Chattanooga region.  Many hardwood trees fell due to storm damage and part of the purpose of the Wild Trails Stump Art Show is to provide a use for these trees.  The finished pieces will be displayed along the trail at Stringer's Ridge in September and moved to Coolidge Park for RiverRocks Chattanooga.  Proceeds from the sale of the art will benefit local preservation projects.   Artists interested in participating in the competition and show must live within 75 miles of Chattanooga and capable of working with tree sized materials.  AVA is accpeting applications for the artists until June 29th.

Rabbit has been on the air at WUTC since 1993.
