The third annual Ten for Tenn Play Festival presented by the Fine Arts and Theater Department of Tennessee Wesleyan College has extended the deadline for script submissions. The festival presents ten plays ranging from five to fifteen minutes in length with ties to Tennessee. The author can be living in Tennessee, originally from Tennessee, or feature Tennessee icons and landmarks in the play. The new deadline for submission is August 25th. The Ten for Tenn Play Festival will be presented at the Athens Area Council for the Arts September 26-28 at 7:30 pm and September 29 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets will be available at the door or in advance by contacting the Athens Area Council for the Arts.
