History And Heritage Explored In The Moccasin Bend Lecture Series

The Moccasin Bend Lecture Series is back.

Starting next month, National Park Partners will present the fall series - now in its 16th year - at the IMAX Theater here in Chattanooga, accompanied by a live broadcast on Zoom.

  

The speakers in the monthly series will discuss our National Parks and conservation; Indigenous culture and history - and Chattanooga’s place in the Civil War.

The first speaker - on Monday, September 13th at 7 PM - will be Keith Hardison, executive director of the Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center here in Chattanooga.

I spoke with him - and Tricia Mims, executive director of National Park Partners.
