Raised in Whitetop Mountain, Virginia, Martha Spencer is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and traditional Appalachian flatfoot dancer who carries forward her family's rich Blue Ridge Mountain musical heritage. Playing guitar, fiddle, banjo, bass, and dulcimer, Spencer blends old-time Appalachian tunes, bluegrass, classic country, and early rock 'n' roll into a joyous, high-energy sound alongside her solo work and her project, The Wonderland Country Band.
