Start It Up Episode 7: Teen Startup Thrives and Glass Street Bounces Back

Granola Gives Teens Healthy Food for Thought

When Kelsey and Conner Scott were in high school, they had a simple problem: Chalk bags and backpacks were not cool and were too expensive.  So they borrowed their mother's sewing machine and set out to craft a solution. A company was born, and today Granola is thriving with products being sold across the country.

A Neighborhood Partnership Brings New Life to Glass Street

When Teal Thibaud and Katherine Currin were introduced to the Glass Street neighborhood, they saw promise and opportunity. They helped organize residents and forged a lasting partnership. Today, as Executive Director, Teal continues to help the Glass House Collective achieve its vision.
