The Tennessee Parent Teacher Association is hosting a Summer Leadership Training session in Chattanooga on Wednesday, July 24th from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm at Tommie Brown International Academy.
The back to school leadership training will provide information on the structure of PTA, roles of teachers and principals in PTA, as well as other topics involving resources and the community. Anyone interested in increasing parental involvement in any school could benefit from this training. The Hamilton County PTA is encouraging anyone with an interest to please contact them and RSVP for the training. The cost of the one-day training session is $5 for for PTA members and $10 for non-PTA members and includes a light breakfast and lunch.
