The Creative Discovery Museum has partnered with the Department of Energy, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and the BioEnergy Science Center to create a webpage about biofuels.
The webpage, LearnBiofuels.org, includes resources for educators to use in their classrooms. Links are available to current resources for research. There is also a free interactive app that helps teach children about transportation choices. The Road Trip Challenge app is a free download for the iPad via iTunes or learnbiofuels.org.
LearnBiofuels.org is intended to be used by inquisitive minds at any age with a desire to learn more about options in transportation fuel. As new information is available, the webpage will be updated to reflect the latest research and understanding of biofuels and other alternate transportation energy sources.
