WUTC’s staff would like to thank all our volunteers who turned out Tuesday, March 10, for the volunteer training luncheon. It was great to see so many people in attendance – we had a packed house!
The almost-final draft of the master schedule for volunteers has been assembled, and we have sent out emails to many of our volunteers. If you didn’t get an email, then please call the station office at 423-425-4756 this week to check your schedule.
If anyone missed the March 10 luncheon and still needs to attend training, there will be a drop-in training session Thursday, March 12, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at WUTC.
The station’s physical address is 725 Oak Street. The easiest way to get to the station is to take McCallie Ave. to Palmetto Street, turn onto Palmetto, then take the first street to the left (Oak Street). WUTC is in the back of Cadek Hall, which is the second building on the right on Oak Street. Turn right into Cadek parking and continue around to the back of the building.
Come by any time during that hour and half, and we’ll get you set up with everything you need. Cookies and beverages will be provided.
