Back in the spring, Dalton Middle School in Georgia started a mariachi program - to teach students how to play that genre of Mexican music.
Since then, the students in their mariachi band have performed around Dalton - including at the Creative Arts Guild’s fall festival.
Daisy Cardona is the band director at Dalton Middle School who created the mariachi program.
